The Shuōwén Seal form of 竟 jìng ‘end/finale/cadence (of a song/melody)’ combines 音 yīn ‘sound/music’ (音乐), and 儿(人) rén ‘person’; later also wr. 傹 and 境 in some senses.
Note: The component 音 here seems to be short for 章 zhāng (abbrev. phonosemantic); cf. 章.
