Characters given in line one of wiki are missing from dictionary entry.
--It took me a while to understand what you mean. Now I see it. The proofreading PDF and hard copy, in the monosyllabic entry, don't include the characters for " ►baai6 gaa1 zai2 敗家仔 ►baai6 gaa1 zing1 敗家精 ►daa2 baai6 zoeng3 打敗仗 ►si1 man4 baai6 leoi6 斯文敗類", while the wiki entry does display the characters (when not editing).
This monosyllabic entry was auto-generated, like many others. The "in" bands have Jyutping and serial numbers, and the wiki knows how to fetch and add the characters automatically using the serial numbers. By design, other print editions in the ABC series have included only romanization, not characters, for "in" bands. The rationale is that it saves space and that the user can see the characters in the actual entries pointed to. Same for "see" and "seealso" bands.
This dictionary differs from the others in including characters in "see" and "seealso" bands. It is still like the others, though, in excluding characters from "in" bands. I'd be reluctant to change that for the first edition at this late stage. Adding characters for 5,985 "in" bands might affect pagination more than the press would like.
