An essential feature of the MediaWiki software is that each logged-in user belongs to one or more groups. Access rights to some contents and features depend on membership in particular groups.
Some groups (including Users, Bots, Administrators, and Bureaucrats) are defined by the original MediaWiki software.
Some groups (including Editors, Reviewers, and Autochecked users) are defined by MediaWiki extensions such as Flagged Revisions.
Some groups (including WenlinGroupFreeBasic, WenlinGroupDeluxe, and WenlinGroupCantoneseDelux) are defined especially for the Wenlin Dictionaries Wiki.
