From Wenlin Dictionaries
I think
1) the pinyin should be "zēngjiā dào" rather than "zēngjiādào"
2) the definition should be "increase to [a certain level]" rather than "increase"
Compare other ABC entries:
收缩到[-縮-] shōusuō dào r.v. shrink to
归纳到[歸納-] guīnà dào r.v. ①attribute to ②converge to
应用到[應--] yìngyòng dào r.v. apply to
影响到[-響-] yị̌ngxiǎng dào r.v. have influence on
Example: 學員則從二萬人增加到二萬三千多人。
(Here, 增加到 corresponds to "increased to [over 23,000]" rather than "increased [over 23,000]".)

Good ideas, both your 1 and 2. Would you like to do the honors? Please use (parentheses) rather than [brackets] for "(a certain level)".
