It looks like 像 is regarded as the correct character for sìbùxiàng. It's 像, not 象, in all of these dictionaries: New Century, New Age, XHC, GF, Contemporary C-E Dictionary, Wiktionary, Liang'an Cidian.
My (simplified Chinese) IME has only 四不像 when I type "sibuxiang".
The Baike article for 麋鹿 says: 麋鹿(学名:Elaphurus davidianus):又名“四不像”, ... [https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E9%BA%8B%E9%B9%BF/336884'
I think you may like to retain 四不象, though, so I left that in the headword.

By the way, there seems to be an issue with Wenlin's search function.
On this wiki, it says:
sìbùxiàng 四不象/像 n. 〈zoo.〉 David's deer ...
search web for ‘四不象’: ►Google ►GT ►Baidu ►Bing ►Yahoo
In other words, even though it says sìbùxiàng can be written as 四不像, there is no option to search for 四不像.
Similarly, in Wenlin, it says:
四不象/像 sìbùxiàng n. 〈zoo.〉 David's deer ...
►list adjacent words by pinyin
►search files for ‘四不象’
When I clicked search files for ‘四不象’, there were zero results, even though I searched a set of files that had numerous examples of 四不像.
It seems there is no way to search a set of files for 四不像 in Wenlin!
