KEY ~ "(of a new building) gorgeous, tall and splendid, magnificent".

And Liang'an Cidian examples show that it doesn't necessarily describe a house either ~ 「美輪美奐的高樓大廈,目不暇接」、「美輪美奐的香山秋景,給人留下了深刻的印象」。
