I wonder whether it should be v.p. (verb phrase) rather than v., and whether to insert a space, making it "xiāng liánjiē". We have xiāng as an adverb (not only a bound form) and this looks like a regular phrase construction. The rules/conventions for pinyin zhengcifa aren't always clear; Yin Binyong's books might say something specifically about xiāng. The conventions are often different depending on syllable count, so the absence of a space in entries like "¹xiāngbàn* 相伴 v. be together; accompany sb.; accompany each other" isn't necessary applicable here.
