The simple-form character 齐 (6 strokes) is an abbrev. of the full-form character 齊 (14 strokes), keeping the top two (亠) and bottom two vertical () strokes of the full form, but replacing all of the the central strokes with 乂 (2 strokes); formerly also abbrev. 斉/𡕓.
