The Shuōwén Seal form of 𠫓() tū ‘quick/easy/unexpected (birth)’ is said to be the inverse of 子(𠯃) zǐ ‘child’ (rotated 180 degrees); the child in head-down position has a quick/easy non-breech birth, but sometimes the birth is too quick, the waters break suddenly and the child emerges unexpectedly; formerly wr. 㐬(𡿮), cf. 㐬 liú.
Note: 𠫓() is to 子(𠯃) (inverted) as 㐬(𡿮) is to 㜽(𡿹𢀇) zǐ ‘child’; the inverted child if born too quickly is unfilial.
Note: SW associates the main SW form 𠫓() with 突() tū ‘sudden’, and hence the reading 𠫓 tū (HDZ); the reading of the SW variant form 㐬(𡿮) is given as 㐬 liú (HDZ), since it is assoc. with 旈/旒/游/流 liú ‘flow/stream’; cf. 育(毓) yù ‘nurture/foster’, 后.
Compare: 突() tū ‘(wild) dog suddenly emerging from its cave/hole/den (attacking)’; 凸 tū ‘bulging/convex’, formerly wr. 突().
HDZ: 𠫓 : tū : 突: 忽然出现 (cf. 㐬 liú, 毓 yù); 一切反常逆理之变的出现
