 The Shuōwén Seal form of 貌(􁝠) mào ‘looks/appearance’ (頌儀: 容貌仪表) combines 豸(􁨃) zhì ‘sleek/mythical feline beast’, and 皃(􁝞) mào, with 白 ‘head/face/mien’ and 儿 ‘legs’ of a person; another Shuōwén variant is 䫉(􁝟).
